Worm gearboxes and gearmotors are general-purpose devices used to control torques and rotational speeds. Due to their adaptability, these devices are actively used in various sectors of production.

These machines are designed to operate continuously for 24 hours a day or with intermittent breaks. They can be operated in continuous and interval modes, and the shafts can rotate in any direction and in various planes.

Noise and vibration of the gearmotor caused by the design of the gearmotor and the use of electric motors are not considered defects. For example, increased noise and vibration may occur when:

• 3000 rpm combined with any gearbox ratio;
• 1500 rpm combined with gearbox ratios less than 15;
• use of single-phase electric motors with supply voltage 220V, regardless of the number of revolutions.
