Cyclones
- Customised production according to customer's drawings and standard shapes in short terms.
- We complete with industrial fans, carry out calculation and selection of equipment.
Cyclones CN-15(CN-11) are designed for dry purification of gases emitted during certain technological processes (drying, roasting, sintering, fuel combustion, etc.), as well as aspiration air in various industries.
Cyclones must not be used in toxic or explosive atmospheres or for the collection of highly sticky dusts.
Depending on the requirements for gas cleaning, cyclones can be used either independently or as first or second stage cleaners in combination with other gas cleaning devices. They are installed in the suction section of the gas duct system.
Cyclones can be manufactured in both left and right-hand versions.
Depending on the layout, group cyclones can be with a cleaned gas chamber in the form of a «snail» or «collector».
Cyclone bins are pyramidal in shape.
Continuous discharge of dust must be ensured for proper operation of cyclones.
In the technical specification are given values of productivity, referred to the velocity in the cylindrical part of the cyclone V =2.5 and 4.0 m/s. In normal conditions the optimum speed is considered to be 4.0 m/s. The speed of 2.5 m/s is recommended to be taken when working with abrasive dust.
Depending on the ambient temperature, cyclones are made of carbon steel (at temperatures up to -40°C) and low-alloy steel (at temperatures below -40°C).
Unit designation:
CN -15 (CN-11)- where the digit is the angle of inclination of the inlet pipe relative to the horizontal (deg.); digits after the dash: the first - the inner diameter of the cylindrical part of the cyclone (mm); the second (after the multiplication sign - the number of cyclones in the group; U - with a chamber of purified gas in the form of a «snail» or C - with a chamber of purified gas in the form of a «collector»; P - pyramidal shape of the hopper.

Recommendations for use
To increase the service life of cyclones subjected to abrasive wear, it is recommended to weld additional plates on the outer side of cyclone walls in the places of the highest wear (in the lower and inlet parts of the body). Cyclones with diameter less than 800 mm should not be used for collecting abrasive dusts due to increased wear. When cyclones are operating, continuous discharging of the collected dust should be ensured. In this case, the level of dust in the hoppers should not be higher than the plane, which is 0.5 of the cyclone diameter away from the hopper lid.
Note: UP - cyclones with volute and pyramidal hopper, SP - cyclones with air collector and pyramidal hopper. We produce pedestals, hoppers, air ducts for cyclones, as well as groups of cyclones not specified above. We manufacture cyclones from stainless steel. We manufacture discharging devices: slide gates, jaw gates, dust gates.
