Coaxial cylindrical gearboxes and universal type gear motors are used to correct torques and rotational speeds. Their flexibility and adaptability determine their prevalence in numerous industries.

These devices are designed for long-term operation and are capable of operating 24/7 or intermittently. They adequately perform their functions in constant and cyclic modes, while the shafts can rotate in any direction and position.

The specific design attributes of gearboxes suggest that the noise and vibration levels may be higher, but this is not considered a malfunction when working with electric motors. This phenomenon is typical for:

  • 3000 rpm, in combination with any gear ratio;
  • 1500 rpm, if the gear ratio does not reach 15;
  • operation of single-phase electric motors at a voltage of 220V, regardless of the rotation speed.
